The Department of Intercultural Communication (KIK) was established in the academic year 2009/10. It focuses on teaching subjects linked to culture and intercultural communication (Intercultural communication). They reflect the specificities of cultures represented by the foreign language.
The discipline Area studies brings a brief insight into history, political system, economic trends and an overview of literature in that particular region.
In addition, the Department provides teaching subjects related to the economic nature of the student's targets (Trade negotiations). The discipline Discussion forum gives the Master students the opportunity to demonstrate their linguistic and knowledge competences in the most diverse topics of a professional nature, as well as their ability to respond and to express themselves to the current topics in the relevant foreign languages.
