An academic journey that connects cultures and ideas!
From October 28 to November 1, I had the privilege of attending The Korean Conference on Education (KCE2024), held in the vibrant cities of Incheon and Seoul, South Korea.
From October 28 to November 1, I had the privilege of attending The Korean Conference on Education (KCE2024), held in the vibrant cities of Incheon and Seoul, South Korea.
This event brought together professionals and academics from different disciplines to explore innovative perspectives in education. I attended the conference with a paper on the Application of Game Theory to the Qualification Process in Education, exploring how assessment strategies can motivate learners, promote collaboration and prevent undesirable behaviours.
Thanks to the support of our Faculty of Applied Languages and a research project in collaboration with the Department of Operations Research and Econometrics in the Faculty of Economic Informatics, I was able not only to represent our institution but also to contribute to the exchange of ideas on this fascinating topic.
The conference programme was not limited to academic discussions. It also included visits to iconic sites in Seoul, which allowed us to experience the rich culture of South Korea. These experiences not only immersed us in the traditions and modernity of the country, but also provided valuable networking opportunities with academics and professionals from around the world.
The conference was hosted by the prestigious University of Utah and its Asian campus, proving that education knows no borders and that international collaboration is key to innovation in teaching and learning.
Faculty of Applied Languages: a place where language and knowledge connect cultures and transform ideas :).
