On November 6, 2025, EU Rector Prof. Ing. Ferdinand Daňo welcomed representatives of the Faculty of Applied Languages and Intercultural Communication at West Saxon University of Applied Sciences in Zwickau, Dean Prof. Thomas Jonen and Prof. Janina M. Vernal Schmidt. The double degree is the result of many years of cooperation between the two universities. The agreement was signed by Prof. Ing. Ferdinand Daňo, Rector of the University of Economics, and Prof. Dr. Thomas Jonen, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Languages and Intercultural Communication at the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences in Zwickau.

    On October 28, 2025, the 21st conference of the Slovak Terminology Network (STS) took place at the Falkensteiner Hotel in Bratislava, with the subtitle Terminology in the Digital Age. The event was also part of the European #TranslatingEurope Workshop, organized by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Translation (DG Translation) and the European Parliament.

     The deepening of mutual cooperation between the diplomatic representation of the Kingdom of Spain and the Bratislava University of Economics and Business is taking place in various ways. The result is an invitation to our colleagues to celebrate the national holiday of the country whose language our students are learning.

On the occasion of the Spanish national holiday, KRaSJ teachers were invited to a reception organized by the Spanish Embassy. On this occasion, they had the opportunity to meet the new ambassador, H.E. Sofia Ruiz del Árbol Moro, who promised to visit the Bratislava University of Economics and Business soon.

     From September 11 to 13, 2025, representatives of the University of Economics in Bratislava (EUBA) participated in the important conference "Quo vadis? Germanistische Linguistik – Aktuelle Fragestellungen und Forschungsfelder" in Wrocław, Poland. This was the 10th anniversary of the Linguistische Treffen in Wroclaw conference. This professional event, which focused on current issues in the field of German linguistics, provided valuable opportunities for presenting research work and establishing international cooperation.

Koncom augusta 2025 absolvovali Ing. Pavol Lipták z Obchodnej fakulty a Dr. Filip Kalaš z Fakulty aplikovaných jazykov pracovnú cestu v chorvátskom Zadare s cieľom rozvíjať výskumnú spoluprácu v oblasti jazyka, marketingu a umelej inteligencie. Hlavným bodom ich programu bola medzinárodná konferencia „Corpora in Language Learning, Translation and Research“ (CLLTR 2025).
