International Scientific Conference Language and Politics. At the Interface of Linguistics and Political Science IX.

On Friday, 4 October 2024, the International Scientific Conference Language and Politics took place at the University of Economics in Bratislava. At the Interface of Linguistics and Political Science IX.

The conference was organised by the Faculty of Applied Languages of the UE in Bratislava in cooperation with the Institute of Political Science of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Slovak Society for Regional Policy at the Slovak Academy of Sciences. Personalities of social sciences and humanities from several universities graced the conference with their participation. This year's conference also showed that research on the relationship between language and politics is inexhaustible, as every year brings new dimensions to political communication and political discourse.
