Dňa 21. júna 2018 sa uskutočnil 3. ročník medzinárodnej vedeckej konferencie pod názvom Jazyk a politika. Na pomedzí lingvistiky a politológie. Konferenciu organizovala Fakulta aplikovaných jazykov EU BA v spolupráci s Ústavom politických vied SAV a Slovenskou spoločnosťou pre regionálnu politiku pri SAV.
