The Department of Romance and Slavic Languages presents a scientific collection on cultural and linguistic links between Romance and Slavic languages (Bucharest, Eikon, 2024).
Although Romance and Slavic languages differ in their origins and development, they have a rich history of cultural and linguistic links. The contributions in this volume are devoted both to the links between the two language families and to the connections between languages and literatures belonging to the same linguistic space, whether Romance or Slavic. The authors bring diverse perspectives, from lexical parallels to literary influences and art history. The articles are written in French, Spanish, and Russian, and the collection is organized around these three linguistic-thematic axes.
